10 Atrocious WWE Matches That Were Unintentionally Funny

1. The €œHardcore€ Evening Gown Match

You put Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco in Evening Gowns and place the Hardcore title on the line at the 2000 King of the Ring and what do you get? You get... something. There really aren't the words. At one point in this... match, Patterson pulled a menstrual rag out from under his gown and wiped it in Brisco's face. At another point Brisco did a bronco buster to the felled Patterson with his wig hanging halfway down his chin. Both men were eventually striped down to their €œbra & panties€ as Crash Holly did a run in to win back the Hardcore title. Patterson responded by pulling the stuffing out of his bra as his gut hung over his panties. Jim Ross & Jerry Lawler did their best on commentary not to crack up with Ross even breaking character into unscripted laughter. We're not entirely sure Ross could believe what was occurring before his eyes. He remarked simply: €œThis is hideous King,€ as Patterson wiggled his ass in front of Brisco's face and suffered a low blow. He wasn't wrong. We would like to say at this point that Patterson and Brisco deserved credit for going out there and exposing themselves like that but honestly, no amount of reasoning in the world could ever warrant credit being offered to this match. It was downright hilarious but also downright horrible. The only standing solace... was that it was short.
