7. Paul Orndorff (Hulk Hogan's Birthday - Raw - August 2014)
Paul Orndorff was one of the early cornerstones of WWF's rapid rise in the early '80s. He was in the main event of WrestleMania I, got mixed up in the rock and wrestling phenomenon that spread wrestling into pop culture, and had an epic feud with Hulk Hogan when he was the hottest thing going. A mid-'00s appearance by this legend should have been a huge deal.
When Raw 'celebrated' Hogan's 61st birthday in 2014, Orndorff was one of the many superstars in attendance. Unlike many of the others, however, he hadn't exactly stayed in the spotlight - no TV shows, no NWO, no DX, no feuds with the Rock. Not even a scandal to keep him in the tabloids.
As a result, he looked utterly out of place with his twirly moustache and huge glittery robe. Worse, most of the crowd in attendance seemed to be wondering who the hell he was and why he was there and why should we applaud for him?
The event was made even sadder by watching Orndorff attempt to cajole cheers from the crowd a la Hulk Hogan, waving his arms and imitating Hogan's famous cupped-ear shtick, before retreating back up the ramp to steal another kiss from a Diva.
