4. John Cena & Shawn Michaels Fight For An Hour On Raw (April 2007)

John Cena and Shawn Michaels put on an electrifying match at WrestleMania 23 to close the show, with Cena making Michaels tap out to the STFU. Following the event, both wrestlers didn’t have much time to rest up as they were due to travel to Europe for WWE’s annual post-WrestleMania tour. After wrestling night after night on the European tour, they arrived to Earls Court in London, England for the Raw taping only to find out they were booked in a marathon 1 hour match later that night.

With the frenzied UK fans behind them, Cena and Shawn put on a classic. WWE only this year put this match on their YouTube channel to watch for free and it’s amassed more than one million views so far, and rightfully so. It featured spots you wouldn’t normally see Superstars perform on WWE TV, like Shawn attempting to piledriver Cena on the steel steps at ringside.

In the end Shawn countered the FU and hit a pitch-perfect Sweet Chin Music that Cena sold gloriously, crumbling to the mat as Shawn covered him 1-2-3. Fans in the arena cheered and applauded ferociously for both performers when it was all over.
