10 Baffling Pieces Of WWE Merchandise
1. Vinyl Face Masks
Most prominent in the Attitude Era, these horrifying creations gave young fans the chance to look like their favourite superstars... if their favourite superstars had been made from wax and left out in the sun too long...far too long.
You could pick from countless stars: The Rock, Stone Cold, Undertaker, Mankind, Road Dogg, X-Pac, and even Vince McMahon. If they were a success in the Attitude Era, chances are you could buy a mask and pretend to be them. In addition to being unrealistic, these masks weren't cheap, but their existence was luckily whittled away in the 2000s.
Oh but they didn't die. Like the main villain in a horror film who would ironically suit such masks, the monstrosities have made something of a comeback with Ringside Collectibles releasing a 3 pack of John Cena, Roman Reigns, and The Rock masks complete with muscle suits. These may not be the same vinyl masks but they are warning sign we must heed, lest the floppy terrors return...never thought I would have to type that phrase again.
