It might be too soon to include Rusev on a list like this one because he's only been on WWE's main roster for about six months, but the guy deserves it. He's actually a Bulgarian that WWE acknowledged as such while he was in NXT as well as at the start of his main roster push. However, fans don't really know much about Bulgaria, so Rusev became a Russian that also lost his first name Alexander because losing names is another thing WWE has liked doing of late. The push Rusev is receiving now is a result of WWE capitalizing on international affairs involving Russia. They've been doing a lot of questionable things in their dealings with the Ukraine, so WWE is using Rusev and Lana to push Russian ideals on WWE fans. It's a great way to draw heat. As the weeks have turned to months, Rusev has grown as a performer and the fans absolutely love to hate the guy. He's not going babyface any time soon, that's for sure. Rusev is on his way to a main event role in WWE. Don't be surprised if he's feuding with the likes of John Cena and Roman Reigns towards the end of this year or early next year. It's very possible that he'll be a WWE Champion one day too.
