10 Best Candidates To Induct DDP Into WWE Hall Of Fame 2017

4. Cody & Dustin Rhodes

This one has an extremely slim chance of happening since one of these men willingly walked away from WWE less than a year ago and the other is not currently being used on television in a frequent capacity, but there would be a beautiful sense of symmetry to have both Cody and Dustin Rhodes be the choices to induct DDP into the Hall of Fame.

Page is very outspoken about his love and admiration for their father, 'The American Dream' Dusty Rhodes, and what a tremendously helpful role he played in Dallas’ career. He looks back on Dream with the fondest of memories and holds him in high regards, along with practically everyone else within the business. He credits Dusty for pushing him to achieve his dream, no pun intended.

Page himself has gone on record saying that if he were alive, Dusty would be the man he’d choose to induct him:

“And the guy who isn't there is the guy who would be inducting me, which is Dusty Rhodes. I always tell everybody: Without Dusty Rhodes, there is no Diamond Dallas Page. I remember Dusty Rhodes saying to me, "In our business, the things that are really real are your first world title and the Hall of Fame." I would love for him to be here. I get choked up just thinking about it.”

Since the 'Dream' is no longer with us, it would be a nice gesture to have his sons usher DDP into the Hall. It would mean a lot to them as an additional means of honoring their father, and certainly Diamond Dallas would have no problem with the grandsons of a plumber doing the honors.
