But Reigns wasn’t the only man to be targeted by Matt Hardy’s
deletion crusade.
The very same fan seemed to have Dean Ambrose in his sights, suggesting that the reigning WWE Champion actually fears Brother Nero. Which I don’t quite follow, to be honest. Since Matt made Brother Nero his obsolete mule, surely Ambrose should fear Matt?
Then again, Matt once again chimed in with his two cents, reinforcing the idea that Ambrose has no need to fear an “empty vessel” like Brother Nero, and that it is in fact Matt’s “broken brilliance” that the champ should be worried about.
Some may say that this is getting a little desperate, with the way a TNA talent seems so keen to plug brief references on WWE TV. But personally I just think it’s evidence of the kind of ridiculous, wonderfully over-the-top humour that makes pro wrestling so appealing to so many.
And besides, the method to Matt’s madness has ensured at least one WWE discussion is making a mention of TNA, so I guess it’s mission accomplished, really. All that’s left to wonder is what that Mr. MEEKMaHan would think of all this…
