"Do you love me now?" It's the feud that is arguably the best women's storyline in WWE history and deserves to be discussed among the best storylines in the early part of the year. It actually started a few months before 2006 began with Mickie debuting as a crazy heel that idolized Trish and even had affection for her when she kissed her under the mistletoe. The story was all about the mind games with Trish as the Women's Champion and Mickie ended up becoming the top challenger after impressing in a number of matches. After Trish won a tag match they were in on Saturday Night's Main Event, Mickie gave her a hug, a kiss on the cheek and then a hard kick to the head to cement the heel turn. They followed that up with the bloody kiss on Raw after Mickie had tied up Ashley Massaro. It was crazy stuff. http://youtu.be/3EHC2lpVqq4 When they had the match at WrestleMania 22 it was Mickie that got the bigger ovation. The fans in Chicago appreciated how crazy her character was and they were happy that she won. It was the culmination of a great storyline that took six months to get to. It wasn't rushed either. Mickie became the Women's Champion because she deserved it. What's also cool about the story is that Mickie actually pitched the angle to Vince McMahon when she wasn't even a regular on the main roster. He loved it, they went with it and she spent five years as one of the top divas in the company while Trish did an awesome job of putting over the newcomer.
