10 Best Non-Chamber Matches In WWE Elimination Chamber History
1. The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family (2014)
There really shouldn't have been much doubt as to what match topped this list. No battles fought outside of the ominous Elimination Chamber structure were finer than when The Shield battled The Wyatt Family in 2014. And what a battle it was.
The two trios were running roughshod throughout the ranks of WWE prior to this but never really crossing paths. That all changed when The Wyatts interfered in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match, costing all three Shield members a spot in the match. This match was to settle the score.
So much excitement was in the air, as evidenced by the "This is awesome" chants even before the match started.
Bray and his followers were the superior team on this night as the dismantled their opponents one by one. Ambrose was lost in the arena after a wild brawl. Rollins was annihilated via double chokeslam through the Spanish announce table. Only one remained.
Reigns would attempt a final surge to no avail. He would eat the pinfall after Sister Abigail's kiss.
Most of the action at Elimination Chamber happens inside the chamber. Not on this night. This 6-man tag match was not only best bout of its card but one of the absolute best of that year.
