10 Best Stretcher Matches In WWE History

Since after WrestleMania 30, Kane has been gunning after Daniel Bryan and his WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the command of The Authority. There is much more history between Kane and Bryan than just this, however, as the two also had a brief feud in 2012 before reigning as WWE Tag Team champions together in 2013. They faced off in an Extreme Rules title match at the pay-per-view of the same name in early May where Bryan emerged victorious. Despite that, Kane continued to make life miserable for Bryan, doing enough damage to his neck for him to require neck surgery last month. The Beard did everything in his power to maintain possession of the gold, but once it was revealed that his injury was far worse than initially expected, he was stripped of the strap by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. A new champion will be crowned at the Money in the Bank show later this month. Originally at the event, Bryan was scheduled to defend his title against Kane in a Stretcher match. It's been nearly five years since we last saw a Stretcher match in WWE, which is strange considering a handful of them were held from 2005 to 2009. Nevertheless, the history of the matchup dates back much farther the clash between Brock Lesnar and Big Show at Judgement Day 2003. It was a special attraction in the late 1970s and early '80s as well. Of the 10 Stretcher matches that have happened thus far, where would Kane vs. Daniel Bryan have ranked on this list?
