10 Best UFC Fighters Of The Decade
3. Ronda Rousey
Did you really think we could have a Fighters of the Decade list without one of the most influential stars of the last ten years eventually making an appearance?
Ronda Rousey changed the game when she arrived in the UFC in 2012 with the Strikeforce Bantamweight title around her waist.
Planting a firm spotlight over women's fighting inside of the Octagon, Rousey would go on a tear through UFC's new Bantamweight division and successfully
defended her belt six times against the likes of Liz Carmouche, Miesha Tate, Sara McMann, Alexis Davis, Cat Zingano and Bethe Correia.
Her star rose to unprecedented heights for a UFC performer during this period and she even went on to star in The Expendables 3 and Furious 7 during her epic reign as the champ.
However, her run would come to screeching halt after she was devastated by Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes at UFC 193 and 207, respectively.
Yet, her legacy as the first woman fighter in the UFC to command the attention of the world helped establish UFC's women's divisions as some of the most competitive in the company and that alone warrants her rank as one of the top fighting icons of the decade.
