As everyone knows, the Royal Rumble is almost upon us, and while the Rumble match itself and the WWE Title (or multiple World Title matches, depending on the year) get almost all of the publicity and hype, there has always been a very strong undercard helping to carry the load during the events. This article will be taking a look at the ten best undercard matches in Rumble history, but "undercard" in the truest sense of the term. All of the Rumble matches themselves are going to be excluded here, as are any matches that were for the WWF, WWE, World or ECW Titles (even though WWE is the only group that considers those particular years of ECW Title matches as being for a "World Title"), no matter where they were on a card. So, even if a World Title match was the second match on a card, it isn't eligible here, even though it happened so early on in the night. No, this is for the matches that stole the show. This is for the matches that didn't get talked about as much going into the Rumble, but coming out of it, people were buzzing about them, and for very good reason.
