9. Adrian Adonis/Dick Murdoch vs. Jack And Gerry Brisco - 12/28/84

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x53y3u_wwf-adonis-murdoch-vs-brisco-brothe_sport For as much as we appreciate the core crew that the WWF had between 1985-1989, there were some truly notable wrestlers who came through the "New York territory" before Vince McMahon got the wild hair up his a** to go national and alter the course of history. Of the four men in this match, Adrian Adonis is the only one who lasted in "New York" past 1985, which is truly unfortunate. This match is one helluva brawl featuring four highly talented wrestlers, including a NWA World Heavyweight Champion in Jack Brisco and a stalwart top heel in Dick Murdoch. This match has a blend of technical wrestling, incredibly fun brawling, and probably feels the most like an "Attitude Era" match moreso than anything else on this list. Four veterans get into the ring here and do business. The Philadelphia crowd knows they're getting something special that's also par for the course and respond accordingly, too.
