10 BETTER Ideas From 2000 WWE Could Be Using Right Now

1. Seth Rollins Defends The World, US and Intercontinental Championships In One Night

WWF's 2000 also involved the video game WrestleMania 2000, which was the precursor to legendary video game WWF No Mercy. Key to Wrestlemania 2000's storyline mode was the idea that if you held multiple championships, you defended multiple championships at Pay-Per-Views. In WWE 2015, Seth Rollins is currently being forced to defend the WWE Championship versus Sting and the US Championship versus John Cena at Night of Champions. Why WWE hasn't decided that Rollins should also wrestle Ryback for the Intercontinental Championship, too, is out of my realm of understanding. WrestleMania 2000 was a lot of fun when your one character was accumulating belts. Seth Rollins is ON FIRE right now, and while it may on one level seem like overkill, Rollins having three championships to defend is likely better than what we're getting in match quality from the IC championship at present. While on one level it is arguably insane, on so many other levels it makes perfect sense, too.
