10 Big Questions From WWE Battleground

7. Was This A Positive Step In The Divas Revolution?

The divas match at Battleground wasn't advertised, but it was still good. Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Brie Bella were given about 12 minutes to have their match and they made the most of that time. Most divas matches on PPV get anywhere from 5-7 minutes, so this should be considered positive progress for the ladies of WWE. It would have been nice if Charlotte entered to her own theme song instead of Paige's song and if Banks entered to her song instead of Naomi's. That way the "new" women would have stood out more as future stars of the division. By doing it the way they did, Charlotte and Banks seemed like underlings to their leaders, which is not how they should be presented. The next month is going to be really telling. Will they have longer matches on TV and then a longer match at SummerSlam as well? Hopefully the answers to both of those questions is a yes. There's a lot of talent in the divas division. So far this "divas revolution" sounds like a great thing that WWE is passionate about, but it's one of those things where actions will speak louder than words.
