10 Big Questions From WWE RAW (August 3)

8. Is Rusev Back On Track?

Did anyone else groan when they saw Rusev and Summer Rae backstage preparing to make their way to the ring? After last week's fishy shenanigans, the prospect of more of the same this week was not an appealing one.

Thankfully, Rusev stuck to what he is best at - keeping his mouth shut, and letting his wrestling do the talking. Last night, it was poor old Mark Henry who felt the Bulgarian Brute's wrath, succumbing to a series of superkicks from Rusev on his way to a dominant victory.

It's sad to see a veteran like the World's Strongest Man, a former World Heavyweight Champion of course, plodding along as enhancement talent in the twilight of his career. But if WWE can keep Rusev away from the bad comedy (and away from the microphone) they might yet be able to salvage his reputation as a monster.

As a long-time WWE fan, I have always enjoyed watching men pretend to beat each other up while wearing spandex. Extra points for facepaint, none for tassels. I love all things sci-fi. If there's a 'Star' somewhere in the title, I'll probably dig it. I'm a huge football fan too. For my sins, I support Manchester United.
