The 'Road to WrestleMania 33' is well and truly underway. This year's event will take WWE to Orlando, Florida and although Elimination Chamber and Fastlane come before it, everything that happens between now and April 2nd will be done with 'Mania in mind.

The Royal Rumble's build was characterised by unpredictability, and while the WrestleMania 33 card is already taking shape, there would appear to be some surprises along the way.

Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar is finally official, but with Goldberg set to fight for the Universal Title at Fastlane, could there be gold on the line? Similarly, how will new WWE Champion John Cena fare inside the Chamber, and what will the main event scene look like heading into Orlando?

How will WWE handle Seth Rollins' injury? How much more tension can Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens endure? What's going on with The Undertaker, will WWE find a high-profile match for AJ Styles, and will Finn Balor be cleared to compete in time?

This is the most important time of the year for WWE, and they must answer all these questions (and more) over the coming weeks. Last year's 'Mania was a huge disappointment, and they can't afford to make the same mistakes again this year...

10. Sasha Banks Embraces The Darkside

Sasha Banks’ slide down the rankings has been quite spectacular. Three months after her and Charlotte became the first women to ever headline a WWE pay-per-view at Hell In A Cell, The Boss was obliterated by Nia Jax on the Royal Rumble Kickoff Show.

Sasha has been one of WWE’s most popular wrestlers throughout the 'Women’s Revolution', but it looks like a heel turn is on the cards. The signs were there when Banks snapped at Bayley, her closest ally, for offering her help ahead of the Jax rematch, and Nia’s constant beatings should serve as the perfect catalyst. The feud might continue, but look for Sasha to become increasingly catty and more prone to taking shortcuts in the ring over the next few weeks.

Turning heel would be a great move for Banks. Bayley has replaced her as the division’s top face, and for all her popularity, Sasha has always been more convincing as a villainess than a heroine. Everything from her flashiness to the way she speaks screams “super heel,” and she was fantastic in that role down in NXT. The turn will revive her fortunes within the division, and it should happen sooner rather than later.
