10 Biggest Ever Heel Vs. Heel WWE Matches

10. Shawn Michaels Vs. Rick Martel - SummerSlam 1992

It was a match between two very egotistical heels. Shawn Michaels was a fresh heel that dumped Rockers partner Marty Jannetty and then had Sensational Sherri as a manager. Rick Martel got rid of partner Tito Santana years earlier and ended up as an egotistical heel known as The Model. For whatever reason, WWE thought it would be a good idea to put them in a match at SummerSlam 1992 where the rule is nobody could be hit in the face because they were both too good looking and Sherri wanted it that way. It was a silly concept, but they were skilled enough to make it work. In terms of their in-ring talent, both guys were really good. Obviously this was early in Michaels singles career and by the time he retired he was arguably the best in-ring talent ever while Martel was also very good at times. What was cool about the match is the crowd was into it. The England fans were hot the whole night. After about seven minutes of action with each guy cheating as much as possible, the match broke down and Michaels was the first one to do a slap in the face. Martel also slapped him. Sherri fainted on the apron when she saw them slap each other. Both guys checked on Sherri, then they brawled outside the ring and it ended up as a double countout.
