6. Sami Zayn Enters The Royal Rumble, Eliminates Kevin Owens
Sami Zayn was one of the most popular NXT superstars of 2015, but his one appearance on Raw didn't go so well - during a pre-match celebration before taking on John Cena, Zayn suffered a separated shoulder. In storyline, the injury was attributed to Zayn's NXT nemesis, Kevin Owens, and the former NXT Champion was out of action until last month. Zayn returned triumphantly to NXT during the brand's UK tour, but he didn't make his main roster return until last night, as a surprise entry in the Royal Rumble match. He made a beeline for his friend-turned-enemy Owens, eliminating the former Intercontinental Champion from the bout. Zayn's arrival and success drew a huge reaction from the crowd, who moments earlier were lamenting the elimination of AJ Styles. Where does Zayn go from here? Is he part of the main roster, or will he still compete for NXT? Odds are he'll do both over the next few weeks before transitioning to WWE full-time and taking on Owens at WrestleMania.
