10 Biggest Wasted Talents On The WWE Roster In 2017
9. The Hardys
The Hardys' dramatic return to WWE at WrestleMania can be described in one word - spectacular. Winning the Raw Tag Team Championships on their first night back was a superb welcome home for the prodigal sons and was arguably the highlight of the entire show.
Since then, the Hardys have had a solid run in the tag division, with a particularly entertaining feud with Sheamus and Cesaro. However, there is one thing missing from the presentation at present and, because of it, the entire return seems somewhat... broken.
The ongoing legal wranglings for the rights to the 'Broken Universe' leaves the Hardys' missing a key ingredient in WWE. In addition, the continuous social media teases and allusions in interviews has left the fans drooling at the prospect of 'Broken Matt' and 'Brother Nero' making their WWE debuts.
Had WWE simply bought the rights to the names and trademarks from Anthem Sports, the problem would have disappeared; however, WWE reportedly didn't want to set a precedent and understandably turned a blind eye. All of which still leaves Matt and Jeff in a precarious position. Sadly, without the 'Broken' gimmicks, the Hardys are likely to remain in their current spot in the mid-card.
