10 Biggest Wrestling Scandals Of The 2020s So Far
5. Raja Jackson vs. Syko Stu
None of the things on this list are remotely funny, but this one is especially grim.
At KnokX Pro Wrestling event in August 2025, Raja Jackson - son of legendary MMA fighter Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson - attacked a wrestler called Syko Stu. It quickly became apparent that this was not a work, as Jackson punched Stu in the head multiple times even after he had seemingly lost consciousness.
Jackson, a fighter in his own right, had been scripted to get involved in Stu's match, but not like this. Supposedly, he had been told that he could get a receipt on Stu for an earlier infraction, but he took this way too far.
Stu suffered broken bones in his face, several lost teeth, and a deep laceration on his lip. As for Jackson, he reached a plea deal that sentenced him to 90 days in prison and he was ordered to pay $81,700 in restitution.
Even though this didn't happen at a major promotion, the Jackson/Stu incident made headlines around the wrestling world. It's a chilling reminder of how quickly this 'fake' sport can become frighteningly real.
