Another Booker T storyline that remains unresolved was the five-time WCW Champ promising Randy Orton a favour after asking him to take his place in the last of his best of seven US Title series against Chris Benoit in 2006.

Given that they were both heels with ambitions of ascending the SmackDown ladder, you expected Orton to cash in his blank cheque at some point over the next couple of months, perhaps asking Booker to beat up Rey Mysterio and Kurt Angle en route to WrestleMania 22.

But it must have slipped his mind somehow. The Legend Killer never once came looking for his favour, and was later on in the year sent back over to Monday Night Raw, scarcely interacting with Booker again.

Since the latter now appears at the WWE commentary desk every now and then, though, it's not outside the realms of possibility that Orton could come looking for him next time he's over on the red brand.
