Vince Russo will on occasion fantasy-book the events of WWE on his podcast. Perhaps he does this most weeks, and the YouTube algorithm is more merciful than one thought.

Regardless, when his name does surface, the ideas are invariably Very Vince Russo, which won't help anybody, much less WWE.

His complaints are largely centred around how predictable WWE is in 2020. Per a recent appearance on SK Wrestling's Legion of RAW pod, he didn't buy Kevin Owens nor Sheamus as potential World Champions ahead of TLC.

While true, this doesn't necessarily mean WWE should hot potato either title around, which is what Russo would inevitably do - after having McIntyre swerve-turn on Sheamus, and not the other, altogether more sensible way 'round, because the mawks wouldn't see it coming. Proving the extent to which he is out of touch, he also pitched Riddle to make a pass at Stephanie McMahon, whew, and for Randy Orton to kidnap Alexa Bliss in a show-long episodic hook.

Perhaps Randy could have lulled her into the back of a limo and asked "Where to, Alexa?"

"I'll give you freakin' Shakespeare!" Russo claimed.

Was it Twelfth Night or As You Like It in which the gaslighting supernatural monster saves the infantilised damsel in distress?
