10 Booking Decisions AEW Should Make Before Double Or Nothing 2023

1. Push Malakai Black To The Moon

Jon Moxley MJF Tony Khan
AEW

Who knows when (or even if) Malakai Black will return to AEW TV? Tony Khan was generous enough to give Black some much needed time off to sort out personal issues, and nobody should even think about rushing the man back. However, the road to Double Or Nothing sounds like a fun return point.

Ooh, the possibilities.

If MJF wins the World Title then beats a few challengers, his smugness will be off the charts and fans will start wondering who's going to shut him down. Then, assuming he's ready to come back, Malakai would bounce into view and start racking up impressive win after impressive win.

Slowly-but-surely, Black would be readied for a crack at MJF and perhaps his own banner moment on the All Elite roster. The dude deserves it, and he's one of the best in the biz when motivated and allowed to get creative.
