10. Getting The Miz Out Of The Picture
WWE.comBut not buried. The Miz has mic skills, good in ring performance, and has the kind of ego-inflated Hollywood attitude that would make a great heel right now, especially in WWE's current "reality era." Very rarely does the company have a bankable heel that people actually dislike, and The Miz is him. While he is tentatively involved with Jericho, he needs to be involved with something else, but not swept under the rug, so for the first third of the next few months Miz will be directly competing with Jericho in ring. For the first night on Raw with this feud being started, Bray needs to establish himself on the mic. Raw should open with Wyatt coming out to a cellphone-lit up arena, as is tradition by now. Not unlike Charles Manson and Helter Skelter, Wyatt will start warning the crowd about how "a war is coming" and it's important for the crowd to pick sides, before telling them that the Wyatt Family will always have open sanctuary for those that want to love and join their following. After ending his promo with a trademark "follow the buzzards," Wyatt dips out of the ring. Later in the show The Miz continues his week-earlier tirade of being "The Marine" and says that if Wyatt wants a war he will be the soldier to fight it, begging the crowd for a positive reaction. As the boos and "what?" chants start bellowing in, Jericho's music hits, and he comes to the ring to stare Miz down. "The millions of Jerichoholics in the WWE Universe don't want you as their hero. They don't want you to fight someone. They want someone better. This is Raw is Jericho, not Raw is..." and with that, Bray's audible cut hits, and the head of the Wyatt family struts out onto the entrance ramp. "Children, children, children. Neither of you are important enough to be cultural martyrs." Jericho pushes Miz aside and trades barbs with Bray, as the latter throws out a couple of key quotations. "You might have stars on your jacket Chris, but I have stars in this audience." and "Not only do I have the whole world in my hands, but I have something in my back pocket." The lights cut out and the Wyatt sound bite plays again, with the lights coming back up to show Harper and Rowan behind Miz and Jericho in the ring, attacking and beating them down, ending the segments for the night.
