Much like pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving, too much of a good thing can simply be too much. We might have witnessed that on Raw last week when WWE Tag Team Champions the New Day opened Raw with a promo and introduced Sheamus for an in-ring celebration. They returned later to do commentary during a #1 contenders tag match, and then then joined in the big multi-man main event, teaming with the League of Nations. Three members, three hours, three segments. While it was highly entertaining throughout, replicating that each week could lead to a rapid burnout among fans. Remember how WWE jumped on the AJ Lee wagon back in 2012 and proceeded to put her in multiple segments every week, until it felt like she was on television entirely too much. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFDyneaqV1U Were nowhere near there with New Day, but if WWE falls back on the crutch of tossing the trio out there three times a show, even the most ardent supporters could find themselves sitting there in the spring groaning when the group comes out.
