10 Controversial WWE Attitude Era Moments You Totally Forgot About

The Godfather was everybody's favourite fatty-smoking pimp.

Not England's.

A lumbering big lad who clumsily moved himself about in just abysmal wrestling matches, this was the best use of him: "Yes, he isn't going to wrestle, and, being 15, it's cool that he is going to not wrestle with so many scantily-clad women with bewbs next to him, the likes of which take so long to load on a 28K modem! Imagine not maturing beyond this wildly hormonal and degrading level of thought, and becoming Jerry Lawler later in life!"

The bit has aged as horrendously as the Johnny Gargano Vs. Tommaso Ciampa programme, but it was all part of the Attitude Era fun for the pimply, N64-playing dorks we were. There's altogether less of an "it was a different time" caveat when one recalls something horrendous that the Godfather once said to Steven Regal for - but of course - the babyface pop.

He was trying to score his trademark forfeit win over Regal, who said that, while English, he isn't Elton John, so he'll "take the broads". Godfather was mystified by this development because "England ain't nothin' but a place full of f*gs!"

Regal's 'Man's Man' bit was quite the ride in general...
