Moments before Austin crashed the scene, Vince McMahon showed he still has what it takes to be one of WWE's best heels. Ranting about receiving a plaque to commemorate Raw's 25 years, the boss dusted off his Mr. McMahon character for one of the most colourful in-ring promos Raw has witnessed in years.

This should be a lesson to everybody else on the roster. Scripted lines or not, there's no need to ignore fan interaction or come across like a robot reading from memory. Vince's promo was off the cuff and brilliant because it seemed real.

A little attention to facial expression goes a long way when it comes to crowd manipulation.

If Raw 25 could have bottled McMahon's gusto and spread it evenly across all the other acts, maybe the show wouldn't be getting bashed so heavily on social media. As a heel, there are few who can touch Vinnie Mac, and he showed why on Monday night.
