At the time The Shield broke up in early June, no one saw it coming. It came only 24 hours after their major victory over Evolution in the main event of Payback, so to see Seth Rollins turn on his Shield cohorts Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns by attacking them with a steel chair was surely shocking.
