10 Criminally Underrated Wresting Matches

9. The British Bulldog vs Bret 'The Hitman' Hart - In Your House 5: Seasons Beatings

This match was overlooked due to the pair's infamous meeting at SummerSlam 1992. The future Hart Foundation members squared off at In Your House 5: Seasons Beatings, over three years after their memorable Wembley Stadium showpiece. Although WWE was still very much a child orientated show, this match has gone down in history as one of the most bloody ever seen and marked a turning point in the company's history as they started to move away from the cartoon character aspect. Davey Boy Smith had only recently made the step up to main event level but looked to had blown his chance a month earlier in a terrible match against Diesel. However, he was given another opportunity and a shot at the WWF Championship against The Hitman. The story the pair told during the match would hold its own in any era of wrestling. The action was textbook, seamless yet in your face, gritty and pretty violent at the same time, making it unbelievable that not many can remember it. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5ul2d_in-your-house-v-bret-hart-vs-britis_sport Hart picked up the win with a La Magistral roll-up pin.
