10 Current TNA Wrestlers Who Could Make It Big In WWE

Is it only a matter of time before TNA's best and brightest jump ship?

Believe it or not, at one time TNA (or Impact Wrestling as it's now known) was a heck of a pro-wrestling promotion. Like the original ECW, they showcased the talents of established veterans and new, exciting stars. Wrestlers such as A.J. Styles, Christopher Daniels and Samoa Joe became the backbone of the company by regularly having 5 star matches that brought the house down.

The focus was mainly placed on wrestling, but what backstage antics and feuds there were generally enhanced the in-ring action, instead of detracting from it. Then, they got a little too ambitious.

In came the likes of Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff, out went the trademark six-sided ring, and along came the attempt to compete with WWE with silly, contrived storylines and considerably shorter matches. Fans had always looked to TNA as an alternative to WWE, and they'd now become a pale imitation.

To be fair, they have made some positive changes recently, but many of their biggest stars have still left the company out of frustration with the current direction. However, they still have their fair share of great young (and not so young) talent that could really shine given the right opportunity.

Samoa Joe recently made the jump to WWE, and so we look at 10 of TNA's best and brightest that could make a big impact by following his example.

10. Magnus

Magnus is great looking, 6 ft 3, 256 lb, can go in the ring and is an above average talker - but even with all those tools, he's still missing.... something.

That's not to say he hasn't been successful. Since debuting in TNA Magnus has won Tag Team gold and even held the World Heavyweight title once - but although he definitely had his share of fans, the pushes never really seemed to take.

It might just be a case of the guy needing a bit more training, a different (well, better) mix of opponents and maybe a fresh gimmick. One thing's for sure, at 28 years old Magnus has plenty of time to hone his craft and is only going to get better, so WWE would do well to harness that potential in case TNA snuff is out completely a few years down the line
