10 Current Wrestlers Who Are Ridiculously Multi-Talented

These wrestlers bring it in the ring as well as in the recording studio, online, in the classroom...

Some people have all the luck.

For some wrestlers, it's not enough to be fit, agile, physically imposing, and skilled between the ropes. There are a surprising number of wrestlers who possess talents in other endeavours.

Sometimes, those talents help with their wrestling careers - for example, having a unique athletic background or being very quick wits who can improv promos or media bits. Other of those abilities are not related to wrestling, but are no less impressive - having an artistic bent, being a natural in front of the camera, or academic achievements.

The great thing is, all of these wrestlers use their gifts to add to the overall value they bring us as entertainers. We should be happy that people who could have gone into other areas where they are so skilled decided to bring their backgrounds to the squared circle to get pummelled and thrown around for a living. It's obvious that some of the folks on this list could have gone directly on to other very successful careers without ever having knocked at the door of a wrestling school.

Their pain is our gain.

10. Britt Baker - Academic / Licensed Dentist

The 'Dr.' that Britt Baker uses in front of her name in the ring isn't just for show. Baker is a fully licensed dentist who works at a private clinic in Florida. She graduated from dental college in 2018, balancing wrestling training with school.

The practice the good doctor works for accommodates her wrestling schedule, being closed on Wednesday. She flies to whatever city AEW is in after work on Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, does the show, then return to Florida early Thursday morning. Between regular shows and PPVs, she averages working four days a week as a dentist.

Baker also holds degrees in behavioural medicine, human development, and family studies, all of which she earned before moving on to the world of fillings and dentures (and AEW).

The idea of her being a dentist has been hammered to viewers time and again on AEW until it basically became a parody of itself. This aspect of her character has been dialled back a bit, but it doesn't take away from the fact that Britt balances two full-time careers, both of which take substantial dedication and know-how.
