When watching Tyson Kidd in the ring, there's an ECW comparison that immediately comes to mind: Lance Storm. They are both technical wrestlers from Calgary...Alberta, Canada and they're not the biggest guys out there, but they are so incredibly talented. Kidd had a breakthrough in 2014 by turning into this over the top heel character that loves talking about his cats, which is awkward and funny at the same time. It gives him more of a reason to be on the shows since he's getting more of a chance to talk and show that he's just a great wrestler. What Kidd needs is that showcase to have longer matches on television. It seems as though he's going to be a part of a team with Cesaro and they might have good matches if they get time, but chances are if he was booked by Heyman he'd be a singles star. Kidd might not be a top guy. However, he could have a lot of success as a midcard champion. There was a time when Kidd was called the "workhorse" by WWE. The name didn't get over huge. If he was in Heyman's ECW, that would be his name and it would get over because he knows how to get a talent over the right way.
