10 Daniel Bryan Matches WWE Must Book

7. Roman Reigns

Though Bryan and Roman Reigns have previously worked together successfully (Fastlane 2015, unwanted or not, was one hell of a match), it's true that Reigns is a much better worker than he was three years ago. Critics shouldn't bust out their pitchforks over that comment either, because nobody is suggesting for one minute that he's in Bryan's league as a pro wrestler.

He is a match for Daniel in terms of superstar quality, however.

Stripped of the unlikeable, goofy dialogue WWE once forced him to recite, Roman has shown more personality as a straight-talking bad-ass of late. If WWE are willing to go one step further and be daring, then it'd be awesome to see Reigns act like an entitled heel who mouths off about making this "his yard" in Bryan's absence. Daniel is best in the underdog role, and that's what he'd be against Reigns. The tale of cherished comeback king against WWE's pet project writes itself.

"G.O.A.T vs. Big Dog" is the kind of snappy branding WWE adore, and it's open to them here.
