10 Early Reasons To Be Worried About WWE WrestleMania 37

WrestleMania 37 has the potential to be anywhere from good to outstanding.

The world is still suffering from the global health crisis that severely hampered plans for last year's WrestleMania. Simple nuances like having fans physically inside Raymond James Stadium for the weekender are still up in the air at the moment. Obviously, we only want to see this if it's legitimately safe to do so, but on the other hand, can WrestleMania survive two straight years with a live audience?

So long as the booking from today straight through to 10 and 11 April is of a reasonable standard, then yes. It's WrestleMania. It can take all the hits you want, but it's never going anywhere.

As time currently stands, we're less than fifty days away from WWE's annual 'Showcase of the Immortals'. Only Edge and Roman Reigns' Universal Championship clash has been formally announced for 'Mania, with Bianca Belair challenging for Sasha Banks' SmackDown Women's Championship all but confirmed.

The way the landscape currently is at Titan Towers, literally everything could change between now and the actual pay-per-view. We've every right as wrestling fans to be fairly worried as the road to WrestleMania becomes narrower and narrower.

Especially if this happens...

Elias vs. King Corbin! Aleister Black vs. Bobby Lashley! Cesaro vs. Drew Gulak! All matches that had no place being on last year's WrestleMania card, even if Cesaro vs. Gulak was technically on the pre-show.

Just because you have two nights to fill up, it doesn't mean you need to incorporate these needless matches. They barely belong on a pay-per-view, let alone WrestleMania.

Of course, their reasoning for happening was almost certainly due to the cancellation of both the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal and the WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal because of the global b*stard. It left many without a WrestleMania payday that they would have received otherwise. It still isn't an excuse for these poor shows on goddamn WrestleMania, though.

Even with the health of the performers in question, WWE still had a decent number of wrestlers in the ring at one point during this year's Royal Rumble Matches. It wouldn't be a shock for them to chuck half their roster in at once just to bring these Battle Royals back.

Unfortunately, it's the only way to avoid them littering the card with such tedious affairs. Do we really need to see Otis vs. Rey Mysterio on 'Mania?
