10 Excellent 2015 WWE Matches That Deserve More Recognition

9. Bray Wyatt vs. The Undertaker (WrestleMania 31)

WWE fans have been somewhat spoilt by WWE this year in regards to Undertaker appearances. The Deadman has popped up at numerous pay-per-views in the latter half of the year, competing in a series of blockbuster main event matches against Brock Lesnar. However, few WWE matches have more prestige than Taker's annual appearances at WrestleMania, even in the aftermath of Lesnar breaking the undefeated streak back in 2014. This time around, Bray Wyatt was the man given the rub of squaring off with the Deadman at the Showcase of the Immortals. Wyatt vs. Undertaker wasn't a classic match by any stretch of the imagination, but it far exceeded the previous year's Lesnar bout in terms of in-ring quality. They put together a solid in-ring performance, with some tense nearfalls and thrilling storytelling. It was even more remarkable what they achieved given that Wyatt worked the match on a sprained ankle, having hurt it whilst preparing in the ring before the show. Wyatt was allowed to kick out of a Tombstone Piledriver and also shared a terrific moment when his spider walk met Undertaker's trademark sit-up. Bray Wyatt hasn't achieved the things that fans expected of him this year but, at WrestleMania, he proved that he can hang with a true legend between the ropes.
