Triple H and The Undertaker have had some damn good matches against each other, and boy was this not one of them. Both men entered the King of the Ring pay-per-view working through lingering injuries, and it showed. The molasses-slow proceedings dragged out to nearly 24 minutes before Undertaker won with a roll-up on a very, very slow count. Not either man's finest hour.

Triple H would miss about seven weeks of action following the pay-per-view, going off to have elbow surgery. It's not clear if the ailment was a new one sustained during the main event, or if it was one of the existing pains that Triple H brought in with him, but it was most likely a factor in the main event residing between a DUD rating and negative stars.
