The Royal Rumble match is going to be a marathon, whether the time intervals are 90 seconds or two minutes. If it's the former, you can expect the Rumble to generally last between 50 and 55 minutes, usually. If they're two minutes, you're most likely breaching that one-hour mark.

The 2002 Rumble, with its two-minute intervals, set the record for longest 30-man Rumble in history at one hour, nine minutes, and 22 seconds. By nearly three minutes, it shattered the previous record set by the 1993 Rumble match (1:06:35). Triple H's special 15-year-long ring entrance certainly played a part.

Somewhat amazingly, the 2002 Rumble match was only 27 seconds shorter than the 2011 match, which featured 40 entrants. Of course, nobody in that match needed an eternity to make a melodramatic ring entrance.
