Let's end this list with the most recent banishment from Dana White's house of ass kicking.

B.J. Penn has done everything there is to do inside the world of MMA.

First American Gold Medalist at the World Jiu-Jitsu Championships.

Former UFC Lightweight and Welterweight Champion.

One of only seven fighters to win titles in multiple divisions who also broke the record for the most Lightweight title defences.

With that kind of résumé - coupled with a place in the UFC Hall of Fame - Penn looked as though he had a job for life in the promotion. Yet, a brawl in Pahoa, Hawaii earlier this year, altered his destiny with the company forever.

In what felt like less of a punishment and more of an act of compassion, Dana White would release Penn from his contract after witnessing a video of the former champ scrapping - this coming after he was involved in yet another street fight earlier in the year.

White stated that Penn 'won't fight again' in the UFC and that he needed 'to focus on his personal life and get himself together before he thinks about fighting again.'

You can't argue with the boss' sentiments, who seemed genuinely crestfallen at the sight of his former champion in need of desperate professional guidance.

It doesn't look as though he will ever get the chance to put himself in harm's way inside an Octagon again, but the most important thing is for Penn to get the help he quite clearly needs.
