Sheamus and Bad News Barrett have had close to a million matches together over the years, but no matter how many times they face off, their matches never seem to get old. They have such a chemistry together that makes all of their matches must-see, but perhaps what's most startling is that they have never actually engaged in a one-on-one rivalry. Of all the matches they've contested against each other over the years, not one of them occurred on pay-per-view. Surely, this is something that must be changed soon. Barrett has gone on record in interviews by stating his dream match is to compete against Sheamus at WrestleMania. Sadly, that doesn't appear to be likely for this year's event, but it isn't out of the question for them to feud sometime later this year. The chances of Barrett leaving 'Mania with his title intact are slim to none, but by some miracle he does retain, he has a credible challenger lined up in The Celtic Warrior. Not only do they have an extensive history together, but the feud they could have over the Intercontinental title would help bring back some the belt's lost prestige. From their meetings on Main Event to tournament matches on Raw, their clashes have yet to disappoint, and you could only expect them to deliver a contest for the ages if they were to lock up once again upon Sheamus' in-ring return.
