10 Grand Moments We Need To See At WrestleMania 33
8. A Battle Royal Upset
WrestleMania's annual battle royal looks to be more interesting than usual this year. A stacked card means that stars who should probably be featured in marquee matches - like Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman - are likely to be part of the bout. Add former winner The Big Show - who's gotten into great shape for what's probably his last WrestleMania - and the possibilities really multiply.
With all those names in the match, though, the stage is set for a real underdog victory that shocks fans and potentially jumpstarts a career. Last year, Apollo Crews debuted on the episode of Raw following WrestleMania, and while fans had high hopes for him, WWE never invested any time or energy in getting him over - or even featuring him on TV most weeks. As a result, he's now worse off than he was when he joined the main roster - but a big battle royal win could turn his fortunes around.
Likewise, a popular NXT star could debut with the win - kind of like Baron Corbin last year, but again, popular this time. Tye Dillinger would be a good pick, as would Hideo Itami. NXT or not, any babyface who outlasts Joe and Strowman will get quite the rub, and it should go to someone who deserves it.
