Triple H and Randy Orton have had their fair share of stinkers over the years - I'm thinking of course about their letdowns at Unforgiven 2004 and WrestleMania XXV in 2009 - sandwiched in between those, however, was a great match that main evented a pay-per-view in style.

Orton was supposed to be wrestling John Cena for the WWE Title at the event, but Cena tore his pectoral muscle right off the bone just six days beforehand and missed the show. Plans were changed and Orton was simply handed the strap in the opening of the show. This didn't sit well with Triple H, who came out and insulted Vince McMahon long enough that the chairman...gave Triple H a title match right then and there? Yeah, that oughta show him!

The Game won that one in a so-so match via roll-up and then defended the title against Umaga midway through the show. Not content with having his son-in-law wrestle in a mere two matches, Vince booked Triple H in a Last Man Standing match main event against Orton. The Viper regained the title after a great, heated match after failing to meet the count following an RKO onto the announce table.

The booking throughout the night was tremendous and both men delivered a more than satisfying conclusion.
