5. King Barrett - "Rebel Son"
NXT rookie, Nexus member, Corre leader, pulpit speaker, King of the Ring winner: the man known as Bad News Barrett has worn a lot of hats since appearing in NXT in 2010 back when it was still a reality show. For as many persona shifts as he's had, he's gotten new entrance themes to match.
There were a handful of versions of "End of Days" as Barrett attempted to find his footing, and while this was an interesting enough song, by the time that he came out to the entrance ramp to announce bad news every week, something had to change.
"Rebel Son" started as "God Save Our Queen," playing up Barrett's British background. The song was practically identical save for the spoken word sample at the beginning. Once that was dropped, this tune became more poignant, a hard rock number punctuated by a stuttering voice sample of Barrett shouting "boom!".
Even as a regal king, this one still works pretty well, pumping an arena full of energy before Barrett's matches.
