2. Team Angle Vs. Los Guerreros Vs. Chris Benoit & Rhyno - WrestleMania XIX
Triple threat tag team matches have a rich history at WrestleMania and this match was no exception.
SmackDown's tag team division was red hot following the first brand split. Teams like Los Guerreros, Edge & Rey Mysterio, and Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit were putting on absolutely beautiful tag team matches. Luckily for us, half of those names were involved in this match.
Eddie & Chavo teamed up to do battle with Benoit and his partner, Rhyno, and WWE Tag Team Champions, Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas.
Benjamin and Haas, who were wrestling under the name of Team Angle, put on an amazing show. The youngsters more than held their own with four veterans and got themselves over as top class athletes. All the while, the more established talent got their own stuff in, offering a mix of power, technical ability, and high-flying skill.
Having six men of this calibre in the ring at the same time was guaranteed to create some truly special moments and none of them failed to deliver.
This was the sort of wrestling that fans were clamouring out for at the time, but the fact that it was taking place in the tag division showed how unwilling WWE were to push these guys as top stars.
