Who would have thought a Stun Gun Ladder match would be anywhere near a best matches list? This match came about after Scott Hall tasered Goldberg the month prior at Starrcade '98 to cost him both the WCW Championship and his historic undefeated streak.

While WCW became known for their wacky stipulation matches over the years, credit goes to both men for making this a serious and entertaining pay-per-view main event. Hall, who had proven that he is at his best in ladder matches, delivered yet another classic, while making the previously undefeated Goldberg look as strong as possible. Despite being arguably passed his prime, Hall was able to use the ladders to slow down Da Man and even hit an impressive looking elbow drop, with the ladder inadvertently falling onto him. After grabbing the taser, Hall had it kicked out of his hand by Goldberg, only to be hit with a spear moments later to reset Big Bill's winning streak to one.

Despite the silly concept, this was a fun match that accomplished it's job of paying off the ending of wrestling's longest winning streak to that point. It also served to keep Hall, who had recently reunited The Outsiders, looking strong. Plus it was fun to see Goldberg hit Disco Inferno, Bam Bam Bigelow and Scott Hall with the stun gun in succession to close the show.
