10 Hardest Working WWE Wrestlers
1. Jinder Mahal
Whatever you thought about Jinder Mahal as WWE Champion, one criticism that absolutely can't be levelled at him is that he didn't defend his crown.
With the exception of AJ Styles (with whom he tied), the guy fought more matches than any other WWE employee across 2017, proof - if it were needed - that hard work and perseverance really can take you places you never thought yourself capable of going.
Naturally, this isn't all to do with blood, sweat and tears. If you spend most of the year with title gold strapped around your waist, then the chances are that you're going to be appearing in the ring regularly, both on pay-per-view and untelevised events.
At the same time (and this isn't just an excuse to have another sly dig at the Beast Incarnate), the exact opposite was true of his counterpart over on Monday Night Raw. Jinder's willingness to get his hands dirty week-in, week-out must therefore be commended, and the improvements that he has made are evidence that it's paying off too.
