10 HUGE AEW Full Gear 2020 Predictions You Need To Know

1. World Tag Team Titles: FTR (c) vs. The Young Bucks

Matt Jackson's injury changes the complexion of this prediction.

Dave Meltzer reported on Thursday that the elder Young Buck was suffering from legitimate MCL and AXL issues, having worked through them since July. Matt followed up with a tweet confirming he had been cleared to compete at Full Gear. If we are to take all this at face value, the match is an example of a promotion incorporating a real injury into a worked storyline.

But is it a real injury?

Only those within the company know for sure, but it's entirely possible that this story was fed to Meltzer in order to generate drama. The stipulation dictates that the Bucks can't challenge again if they lose. This bred a sense of predictability eased by the Jackson injury, which doesn't appear to have hindered any of his performances to date (though he sold his kayfabed ankle injury while wrestling Private Party this week).

Booking-wise, there's no case for FTR retaining after already running through most of the tag division. It's time for the Bucks to ascend. If Matt is legitimately hurt, however, things swing in the opposite direction.

Winners: The Young Bucks
