10 Huge Stars Who Only Held The WWE Intercontinental Title Once

4. Diesel

Sometimes, you don't need to be the best in the ring to get over as hell.

Kevin Nash, AKA 'Big Daddy Cool' Diesel is the living, breathing rendition of the saying 'it takes talent to make money but brains to keep it.'

Often derided due to tearing his quads on a frequent basis, Kevin Nash is also held up as a poisonous influence in the demise of the beloved WCW. Close ties with corporate cronies Triple H and Shawn Michaels have also seemed to have damaged his reputation but in recent years, people have become more appreciative for just how well the man did out of a business that is renowned for being so unforgiving.

As Diesel, he quickly became the coolest guy on the roster and by protecting Shawn Michaels, he became a star in his own right. His sole reign with the IC Title came when he defeated good friend, Razor Ramon on a RAW in September 1994, going on to hold the belt for nearly half a year before dropping it back to Ramon at SummerSlam that same year.

A bonafied legend who didn't hold many belts in WWE, but considering how damaging his WWE Championship reign was, it's nice that his IC Title run is held in higher regard.
