A match between Brock Lesnar and Goldberg at WrestleMania XX should have been an historic event for fans, but the fact that everyone knew both men were leaving the company led to the crowd turning on them both. What followed was possibly one of the worst matches at the annual event in its then 20 year history. Even Steve Austin couldn't save it. Pitting an athlete like Brock against someone as limited as Goldberg in terms of in ring ability, and those behind the scenes must have known that putting these two together wouldn't lead to anything good.
