10 Impulse Reactions Following WWE Elimination Chamber 2017

1. The Whole World In His Hands

A divisive character since his main roster arrival in 2013, Bray Wyatt finally ascended to the top of the WWE mountain in satisfying fashion as the supershow concluded with the 'fireflies' lighting his 'Road to WrestleMania' with 'Family' member Randy Orton.

It's a credit to both performers and the WWE's patient storytelling that the match has any appeal whatsoever, with the union between the two salvaging two ice-cold characters clogging up SmackDown Live!'s midcard last autumn.

Fans have never lost hope that Orton's subservience is a ruse, despite his relationship with Wyatt garnering Survivor Series victory for the blue brand, and a short reign with the Tag Team Titles.

Should Randy reveal the 'set-up all along', he'll do so having completely disintegrated Bray's entire world from the inside, first forcing out Luke Harper then taking his leader's title in their vaunted WrestleMania clash.

WWE could choose to leave the turn until the night itself, with Bray assuming acquiescence from 'The Viper' right up until the moment an RKO floors him for defeat.

There are now seven weeks to successfully complete one of WWE's best slow-builds in years, so with a fresh new champion and a challenger on the verge of an incredible turn, here's hoping there's no late stumble.
